Homecoming
Homecoming is usually held on a weekend sometime in October. Each sorority is paired up with a fraternity and together they build a float for the homecoming parade and also compete in window painting.
Greek Week
This week long event is held annually in the spring. It includes various activities, starting with Greek Games one weekend and ending with all Greek chapter in the next weekend. A variety of service projects are also done throughout the week a blood drive, special olympics, and a canned food drive. The week is highlighted with the Greek sing.
Intramurals
Alpha Chi Omega participates in almost every intramural, including flag football, volleyball, and soccer. We also participate on Co -Rec teams were we pair up with a fraternity!
Decorating with Daughters
Before Thanksgiving Break, we invite our families down to help decorate our house for the holidays. We put up a Christmas tree and other decorations as we listen to Christmas music and enjoy some snacks!
Apple Pie with an Alpha Chi
This event honors professors or any faculty members that are special or influential to an Alpha Chi. They are invited to come have some apple pie with all of us!
Family Weeked
Each Fall, during SEMO's Family Weekend, Alpha Chi Omega hosts it's own activities, including attending the football game, and dining out together.
New I Dance
This is a celebration of our New Initiates! The theme is decided by the new member class for a night of fun after initiation.
Golden Lyre Ball
Spring formal is the final event on our social calendar. Again, held at an off campus location, each sister is allowed to invite one date. Outstanding sisters are recognized for their dedication.
Spring Formal
Spring Formal is held at the perfect time each year, right when its warm enough to were cute dresses! Spring formal is usually held throughout the month of April. This year it was at Cape's Country Club
String Day
This is the day the new pledge class members wait for.. the day they find out who their family is! Each girl is given clues as to who their new mom is going to be and they go on a hunt to find out who she is.
Cystic Fibrosis Walk
Each year a group of Alpha Chi's participate in the annual Cystic Fibrosis Walk in honor of Savannah Snyder a former Alpha Chi Omega. Savannah was a member of the Fall 2005 pledge class.
